Mepro Hyper-Bright (P-10)

Tritium night sights are still the most recommended accessory for a self-defense pistol. Tritium sights differ from the standard phosphorous sights in the sense that they don't need to absorb light before giving it off. Tritium is a gas that glows permanently, hence making the sights visible whenever you need it.

For daytime use, Mepro Hyper-Bright features an extremely bright contrasting coloured ring front sight. The tritium is illuminated green to provide low-light and nighttime aiming capabilities. The rear sight is blacked out, apart from the tritium vials. This contrast helps the shooter focus on the front sight quicker, which is critical in defensive and competitive shooting.

Tritium vials glow green. Shooters can select from one of three colours— Green, Yellow or Orange—for the front sight ring.
