    More info

The "dot" connector fits between the standard connector and the "minus" connector, making the trigger pull moderately lighter.

Fits all Gen 3/4 models, excluding Slimline. Comes as standard on Gen5 models.

    How it works.

As the trigger is pulled, the trigger bar (26) pushes against the firing pin (5), compressing the firing pin spring (7). At the rearmost portion of the movement, the trigger bar comes into contact with the connector (24). The angled surface of the connector pushes the trigger bar downwards, until it slips underneath the lip of the firing pin, releasing it to be driven towards the primer. The angle on the dot connector is less pronounced than on the standard connector, reducing the resistance at the expense of a little bit more movement. So the dot connector makes the trigger noticeably lighter, but loses a bit of crispness. The dot connector fits between the standard connector and the minus connector in terms of lightness.
