    More info

Firing pin spring in a range of weights:

    • 4lb for the lightest possible trigger pull (competition use only)
    • 4.5lb for a lighter trigger pull with a reduced chance of light strikes (competition use only)
    • 6lb for increased reliability and little to no perceptible weight increase (carry use)
    • 6.5lb for the strongest primer strikes, adding about 0.5lb in trigger weight (carry use)

    For competition only.

    How it works.

As the trigger is pulled, the Firing Pin spring (7) is compressed until the firing pin is released, at which time it drives the firing pin towards the cartridge. The Reduced Power Firing Pin Spring reduces the force against the trigger. (It also reduces the primer strike force, so should be used only for competition or well-tested ammunition.)
