The wider front blade makes for narrower light bars next to the front sight in the rear notch:

How it works

Narrower light bars are better for accuracy. Wider light bars are better for speed.

• The 10% wider front sight covers a barely noticeable 10% more of the target, but
• The wider front decreases the light bars next to it by about 25%.
• The net result is significantly better sight alignment.
