Jizni Performance Recoil Spring (Shadow)

Jizni Performance recoil springs are available in different rating, to allow the user to select a weight that works best with his ammunition.

Available in three weights:

• 11lb - Light competition setup
• 10lb - Ultra light setup.
• 9lb - Ultra light setup for subsonic ammunition only.

How it works.

The bulk of the recoil impulse is transferred to the frame through the recoil spring. A lighter recoil spring therefor allows for less felt recoil. A too light spring will, however, allow the slide to impact the frame harshly at the rear of its cycle, battering the frame and increasing the recoil. The slide return speed will also impact how the sights settle at the end of the recoil cycle, so the best advice is always to test a couple of different spring rates to see what works the best for you and your ammunition.
